Burlap & Bright are Gilly and Anne, cousins and partners-in-crime since birth, our business is a professional and friendly family affair. We make a range of unique items from the “beautiful waste” from our upholstery and soft-furnishing business. After recognising the unavoidable amount of beautiful fabrics that would otherwise end up in landfill. We love working with fabric and colour, and believe that when you create elevated, bespoke and handmade products, you’re helping in a small way to create a more sustainable and beautiful world. We aspire to make things that are both beautiful, useful and long-lasting.

I’m completely in love with my bright pink tote from the Candy Colours collection! It looks stunning and is beautifully made, but is also very practical. I recently took it on a flight and had to offload some weight from my checked in bag and somehow the tote magically fit all the extra stuff in! I would highly recommend Burlap and Bright if you’re looking for a gorgeous bag that you can take anywhere.

Oh my, this bag is the best combination of luxury and strength. The fabric is incredibly rich and beautiful, and I love how easily I can get it onto my shoulder. Even the interior lining is stunning in a champagne velvet. I know this bag will look gorgeous for years! I'm so excited!
